Publication of the Deloraine and Districts Products and Services Guide and now this guide is a searchable database.
Forming the Women in Business Group
Establishing a Facebook presence. Like us!
Growing the number of members to 190
Organisation of training seminars and networking get togethers
Extending cooperative relationships with other community organisations
Supporting local initiatives like StringFest, Windows on Deloraine Art, and the like.
But there’s more in store for us in 2014/2015.
Establishing a website for our organisation including the guide that will become searchable online.
Continuing with the Fightback Campaign, with more intense promotion of the voucher system.
Providing support and sponsorship of training courses: shortly we will have two barista courses in town.
Work in Progress: The executive committee of Deloraine on the Move is proposing to change its name to Meander Valley on the Move to reflect the focus of our activities and the composition of current members. Currently we have members from the vicinities of Elizabeth Town, Chudleigh, Mole Creek and Deloraine. Members will be invited to submit their ideas for the AGM in September.
Sponsoring Christmas festivities in Deloraine
Organising seminars and lectures to members and public. In the pipeline is a series with a PHD psychologist “Sundays with Phil” on work and life matters.
